To meet the needs of cleft lip & palate patients in different developmental stage and to prepare for various surgeries/treatments, the association invites Specialists and Professionals to organizes seminars for the members. Topics of seminars such as ‘Cleft Related ENT Poblems & Treatment’, ‘Dental Implant and Maxillofacial Surgeries’, ‘Cleft Dental Care’, ‘Early Orthodontic Treatment for Children with Clefts’, ‘Oral Myofunctional Therapy Workshop’, ‘Preparing for School’, ‘Be Positive & Happy’, ‘Tips on Helping Babies to Talk’…..
The association holds Annual Educational Activity on the topic ‘Reconstructive Surgeries for Cleft and Related Craniofacial Anomalies’ in order to increase the knowledge of parents, patients and non-members. The association will invite representatives from Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Department of Queen Mary Hospital, Kwong Wah Hospital and Tuen Mun Hospital to deliver the talks on reconstructive surgeries for Cleft Lip and Palate, Pierre Robin Sequence, Macrostomia, Microtia, Craniosynostosis, Treacher Collins Syndrome, Crouzon Syndrome etc.
